general conveying of most materials, pitch as out Ø

conveyor flights are frequently employed as feeders and are reccomended for inclined conveyors with an angle of more than 20°
(pitches being less than 2/3 the out. Ø should be avoided; beyond out. Ø mm.300 superior

conveyor flights provide a means for the agitation of liquids or the rapid conveying of very free flowing material
(pitches being more than one and half times the outside Ø should be
avoided).

RIBBON CONVEYOR:
flights are required for viscous, gummy or sticky materials which tend to adhere to flighting and pipe.

Influence of inclination over capacity
In order to calculate the PRODUCTION p/h we give approximate transport data which are not
absolute, but only indicative, as a lot of factors will condition the final output:
type, sizing and dampness of material, screw Ø, speed of rotation, inclination
loading, etc.
